Receiving an error message when trying to download an HCX Upgrade bundle from "System Updates" in the HCX web portal.

Issue/Introduction

• The version that will be seen as available to download is 4.10.3
• The error message states: 
     "Error getting HCX Connector download link. 
   Please try again later.
   If the issue persists, please reach out to Broadcom for support."
  
  
  

Environment

VMware HCX pre 4.11.x

Cause

• VMware HCX 4.10.x went end of service (EOS) on July 27'th of 2025.  Please refer to:

• As of HCX version 4.11, the procedure to upgrade Connected sites is the same as the procedure to upgrade Local Mode sites.  Please see: 
  Upgrading the HCX Manager for Connected Sites   

Resolution

• You must choose an upgrade bundle for an HCX version that is still fully supported and has not gone end of service.  As of November 2025, the most current HCX version is 4.11.3.
  
  
  
  
• As of HCX version 4.11, the only supported method to download the latest HCX Connector and HCX Cloud Manager upgrade bundle is from support.broadcom.com. Please refer to:
