Issue/Introduction

User cannot  login to zvm profile.

Zowe explorer creates random zowe.config.user.json files, which then corrupt the profiles specified in zowe.config.json.

 

Cause

When "Manage Profile" and "Log out of authentication service" Zowe explorer adds it to zowe.config.user.json . This corrupts the access to the other plex.

Resolution

Use  Zowe CLI to store the names and ip addresses:

1. Store the unique properties (name and ip address) as secure values in the zowe.config.json.
2. Move everything  from zowe.config.user.json to zowe.config.json.
3. Delete  the user.json file.
