Unable to remediate the host during NSX-T upgrade.

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

• NSX upgrade is failing with below error:

NSX upgrade failed on the hosts with below remediation failure “Health check for cluster failed"

 

Environment

VMware vSAN (All Version)

VMware NSX

Cause

Unresolved vSAN health alarm will lead to host remediation failures blocking the NSX component update on the ESXi hosts.

vSAN health test 'vSAN HCL DB up-to-date' reported an issue for cluster X. Check the vSAN health.

Resolution

Fix the vSAN health alarms which is triggered on the skyline health. Once the warning are cleared then proceed with Re-running the NSX Remediation which will pass the checks.
