Dashboard Designer List Widget "Count" and "Total" aggregations are reversed

Issue/Introduction

In DX UIM Dashboard Designer, you have designed a dashboard including a List Widget which has at least one column using the following options:

Renderer Type: Status
Aggregation:  Count or Total

The results appear to be opposite of what is expected;  Count should display the number of samples in the time period, but appears to display the sum of the samplevalues, while Total should be showing the sum, but is instead showing the number of samples.

 

Environment

DX UIM / Operator Console 23.4.6 and prior
Dashboard Designer portlet

Cause

Defect - for the "status" renderer type only, these are reversed.

Resolution

This will be resolved in DX UIM/Operator Console 23.4.7 (CU7). 

For now, use a Renderer type other than "Status".

Broadcom does not recommend just using the opposite aggregation type as a workaround; a future upgrade will then switch them to the correct order and you will then need to update the dashboards again.
