Traceflow shows 'Dropped by NEIGH'

Issue/Introduction

• You are facing an issue wherein a Virtual Machine is not receiving traffic, and traceflow indicates the traffic is being "Dropped by NEIGH"
  
  
• Traceflow further revealed that the interface path and port were redirecting to an incorrect/different segment ID
  
  

Environment

VMware NSX

Cause

The issue is caused by the existence of a duplicate segment for the same subnet in NSX leading to incorrect routing and traffic drops and Traceflow indicating "Dropped by NEIGH"

Resolution

Identify and delete the duplicate segment that was incorrectly configured for the same subnet

Note: If the issue persists even after removing the duplicate segment, please open a case with Broadcom Support Team
