Introduction:
(WARN) : [sm-xpsxps-03500] CA.SPS: No product library
Question:
When I am trying to run the XPS tools through command line, I am receiving the below message:
(WARN) : [sm-xpsxps-03500] CA.SPS: No product library.
I am not sure what this message means and would like to have more information from CA about this?
Environment:
R12.5, R12.51
Answer:
Every XPSTool application(i.e XPSRegClient, XPSDDInstall, etc) calls the XPSConfig.exe internally to load the default /config/XPS.cfg file, if it's not present, it will create the XPS configuration file for the first time and logg the message in files.
XPSDDInstall Imports the required data definitions from smMaster.xdd file to the Policy Store.
The SPS XPS XDD does not have a corresponding XPS objects library and it is not mandatory to have this library, this is just a warning message that there is no corresponding XPS objects dll.
So, CA.SPS is just a warning message which will have no impact on functionality and can be ignored.
