Issue/Introduction

Problem:

When an element with less than three characters in the name is browsed or the listing viewed under the Eclipse UI, the request will fail. The log shows:

Unexpected Exception
...
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Prefix string too short
at java.io.File.createTempFile(File.java:1978)
at java.io.File.createTempFile(File.java:2040)
at com.ca.endevor.element.ViewListings.retrieveListing(Unknown Source)
at com.ca.endevor.element.ViewListings.run(Unknown Source)
at org.eclipse.jface.operation.ModalContext$ModalContextThread.run(ModalContext.java:121)

Any PRINT type action will fail.

Resolution:

Known problem #7334. Resolved by RO089329 for release 17.0 or RO89328 for release 18.0
