Cannot delete credentials in Aria Operations : "Operation is not allowed for credential"

Issue/Introduction

Cannot delete credentials with the steps in KB388704

It returns error:

  Operation is not allowed for credential

  error code is : HTTP  403

   Current user does not have permission for current action

Environment

Operations 8.18

Cause

An user account was removed, and the credentials became orphaned content, need to assign a new owner to this credential.

 

 

Resolution

Follow the steps in KB380100, assign a new owner. 

Then apply the steps in KB 388704  .
