vCenter services are not getting discovered in Aria Operations

Issue/Introduction

• The vCenter services not appearing in vCenter apps object provided under the VMware infrastructure adapter instance

Environment

VMware Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

VMware service lifecycle manager api service is in stopped state

Resolution

1. To collect the vCenter health services on vCenter version 8.0.3 and above.
   1. You must login to vCenter VAMI client and then start the VMware Service Lifecycle Manager API.
   2. Also start type must be set to automatic in vCenter Server Management.
      
      
      
      
      
      
2. Validate in Aria Operations, vCenter services gets populated.
