[VMC] Unable to access the HCX Manager via HTTPS in HCX Cloud

Issue/Introduction

• Cannot reach HCX site on SDDC
• Attempting to open HCX Manager UI (https://<hcx-ip-or-fqdn>:443)
• Error reported in the web browser: hcx.sddc-###-###-###-###.vmwarevmc.com took too long to respond.

Environment

VMC on AWS

Cause

• DNS lookup for hcx.sddc-###-###-###-###.vmwarevmc.com is resolving to the wrong IP address.

Resolution

In VMC on AWS, you can configure the HCX Manager's FQDN to resolve either to a Public Internet IP address, or a Private internal IP address.
