Python error after downgrading ISG

Issue/Introduction

After downgrading ISG version you receive the following errors when executing applications view.

(config)# applications view
Error: Python cb_action error. unsupported operand type(s) for *: 'NoneType' and 'NoneType'

#####(config)# applications start ########
Error: Failed to start application: ########:

Cause

This is caused by adding an application type or model that was not supported in the release that you are downgrading to. 

 

Resolution

If you do have to downgrade ISG then you would need to edit the application to one that is supported in the downgraded version before downgrading.
