Removing a catalog doesn't complete in VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

• Removing a local catalog appeared to succeed, but it was still present with one or more existing ISOs.
• The remaining items cannot be removed and cannot not be ejected, due to the following error when attempting to select a virtual machine in the Eject Media dialog box:
  
  Bad request: Expression '' is not a comparison expression
  
  
• There are no existing VMs in the VMware Cloud Director interface that have the ISOs mounted.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

The ISOs are still configured as mounted due to existing connection records in the VMware Cloud Director database.

Resolution

Since the appropriate records can no longer be modified by actions in the VMware Cloud Director user interface, database modifications may be necessary to resolve this issue and will require VMware Technical Support assistance. Please open a Support Request with VMware Technical Support and reference this KB article (417572) to remediate this behavior.
