Issue/Introduction

After upgrading vCenter to version 8.0 U3, you do not see the expected output when running VMware PowerCLI 12.4.0 commands. The following screenshot highlights two examples of the discrepancies between PowerCLI 12.4.0 and vCenter 8.0 U3.  The "GuestTrimUnmap" and "ObjectRepairTimerMinutes" show populated in the vCenter Web client but not in the PowerCLI output.

Environment

vCenter 8.0 U3

PowerCLI 12.4.0

Cause

VMware PowerCLI version 12.4.0 is not supported for vCenter 8.0 U3 

 

Resolution

Upgrading VMware PowerCLI to version 13.3 resolved the reporting issue.  Broadcom Product Interoperability Matrix
