Issue/Introduction

When adding a VM to replication from SRM UI wizard, it does not display the vSAN datastores belonging to multiple host clusters at the target site.

Environment

VMware Site Recovery Manager 8.x
VMware Live Site Recovery 9.x

Cause

The hosts connected to the vSAN datastores were tagged with com.vmware.vr.disallowedHost tag which was preventing vSphere Replication from detecting the vSAN datastores.

Resolution

Removed the com.vmware.vr.disallowedHost tag from the host clusters connected to the vSAN datastores.

In the vCenter inventory, go to Host > Summary tab > Tags > Removecom.vmware.vr.disallowedHost

Additional Information

Exclude hosts from registration in vSphere Replication
