After uninstalling Symantec Endpoint protection, three tasks still appear in Task Scheduler:

Issue/Introduction

You uninstall SEP through Programs & Features with the intention of removing all SEP-related entries from the machine.

However in Task Scheduler, three tasks still remain:

• Symantec Endpoint Protection AutoFix
• Symantec Endpoint Protection Error Analyzer
• Symantec Endpoint Protection Error Processor

SEP 14.3.*

Resolution

This issue is fixed in Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.4.  For information on how to obtain the latest build of Symantec Endpoint Protection, see Download the latest version of Symantec Endpoint Protection.

Workaround:

• Running Cleanwipe will remove these Task Scheduler items. 
• Please contact Support for an alternative fix to remove the entries from Task Manager.
