Data collection is not starting in VCF Operations after importing an environment as a Workload Domain in VMware Cloud Foundation

Issue/Introduction

The task to import a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment as a Workload Domain was completed successfully.
In the VCF Operations UI, navigating to Administration > Integration > Account > VMware Cloud Foundation, the Collection Status for the imported Workload Domain is displayed as Stopped.

Cause

This is expected behavior. The 'Enable Domain Monitoring on Creation' option in the VCF account's advanced settings is set to false by default.

Resolution

• How to start the collection manually
  
  1. Go to Administration > Integration > Account > VMware Cloud Foundation.
  
  2. Select the Workload Domain and click Start Collecting All.

• Change Enable Domain Monitoring on Creation settings. This changing is needed before execute import task.
  
  1. Go to Administration > Integration > Account > VMware Cloud Foundation.
  
  2. Click VCF account > Advanced Setting > 'Enable Domain Monitoring on Creation' select true and click Save.
