How to check SSH version of vCenter Server

Issue/Introduction

In some cases, it may be necessary to check the version of the SSH package in vCenter Server, for example, when performing vulnerability checks using third-party solutions.

Resolution

You can check ssh versions by the command in bash shell.

ssh -V

If there are any updates, they may also be mentioned in the release notes.

If updates are required due to vulnerability checks performed by third-party solutions, it is not possible to update only the SSH package. the entire vCenter Server itself needs to be updated.
