ESXi is unresponsive

Issue/Introduction

ESXi becomes unresponsive with below symtoms.

• VMs on the ESXi host were failovered.
• ESXi is unresponsive for ping.
• DCUI console is also unresponsive for any input.
• ESXi is unresponsive from NMI.
• Reboot from hardware also failed.

Cause

This is caused by hardware, not software.

Resolution

Since it cannot be happen due to software issue, we recommend engaging a hardware vendor to resolve the issue.
