After upgading AAI to 24.2 or later, the product registration fails

Issue/Introduction

After attempting to register, and receiving the OTP in the email provided, the registration fails like in the screenshot below:

Resolution

When using the web browser's development tools and looking at the Network tab during the registration, a "401 Unauthorized" can be seen.

 

The response shows a message stating the user is not Admin.

 

This can happen if you are logged into AAI with an EEM user or another user that is not an Admin user in the JAWS domain.

 

Please login with the default JAWS domain administration account and attempt the registration again.

This will be fixed in a future release of AAI.
