Aria Operations shows "Error - not receiving data" for AVI Integration

Issue/Introduction

When connecting VMware Aria Operations 8.18.x to the AVI (NSX Advanced) load balancer the connection shows as successful, but the sync status shows "Error – not receiving data". The connection test succeed but data is not flowing into Aria Operations.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

An incompatible / outdated version of the AVI management pack is installed, preventing proper data sync between AVI and Aria Operations.

Resolution

Download and install the compatible management pack: VMware Aria Operations Management Pack for NSX Advanced Load Balancer v1.3.2.
