Users are not receiving an expected error notification when attempting to perform an action related to their timesheets, despite restrictions related to their new hire date.
All supported releases
The absence of an error is due to the presence of an open timesheet record in the database.
This open timesheet is automatically created in the database when a user navigates or "scrolls" through the time periods on a timesheet interface.
Engineering has reviewed this behavior and determined that this would be considered a Usability Enhancement for future consideration by the Product team.
Although an open timesheet exists in the database, Clarity enforces a restriction that prevents the user from entering or updating any time on timesheets that fall before their official new hire date.
