Issue/Introduction

When an event that is triggered manually a job with time dependency in  "do not submit" may ran later than expected.

Environment

ESP dSeries Workload Automation: Any

Cause

If a job has time dependency of (do not submit) of 09:00 and the event was triggered at 10:00, then the job will run on next 09:00 which will 23 hours laters or next day.  This is due to the time the application is started by the event, so all time dependencies will based from that time onwards.   Hence, any time dependency will be calculated for next 24 hours and onwards.

Resolution

Check the jobs in Monitor for WATING state and "Timewait" conditions.   If user requires that job should immediately, then reset the times by right clicking on the job and remove any times in Do not submit before fields.
