Issue/Introduction

How to disable auto closure of alarms?

DX O2

Resolution

IMPORTANT: The disable auto closure is **global configuration for all sources of alarms to OI**, for example, the configuration is not specific to Spectrum sourced alarms only

1) open the doi-normalized-alarm deployment file

oc edit deployment doi-normalized-alarm

2) Go to the env section, there will be a  list environment variables with name and value section pair.

3) Add the new env variable towards end of the env variables section,  you can add it before HOSTNAME env variable

- name: ENABLE_AUTO_ALARM_CLOSURE
  value: "false"

4) Save the file, the pod will be restarted
