Issue/Introduction

• An event has occurred, when checked ObjectCreationEvent was not received at the First notified time as per the below logs:

  • ASAM_MESSAGE-*-INFO-.[SmTiEventProcessor] Event Processing com.smarts.asac.events.AttributeValueChangeEvent for equipment..........

• Does notification handle gets created for AttributeValueChangeEvent ?

Environment

All supported releases of Smart

Resolution

• ASAM handles 3 types of events - ObjectCreation, ObjectModification and ObjectDeletion coming from Nokia EMS.

• In case of AttributeValueChange(ObjectModificationEvent), ASAM DM updates its local repository for the existing object (in this case, Card) for the changed attribute, and that gets propagated to the AM domain and then to SAM server as a notification.

• This is an expected behaviour, since it's not a new object; therefore, ObjectCreationEvent won't be there.
