While replacing a member of Edge cluster, ping to external interfaces on the node fails.

Issue/Introduction

1. NSX Edge cluster has more than 1 Edge node.
2. Replace a member of the Edge cluster.
3. Ping to external interfaces on Edge node fails.
4. HA mode is configured Active/Standby on Tier-0 Gateway for the external interfaces.
5. Ping to VIP has no problem.

Environment

NSX-T Data Center 3.2

Resolution

This is expected behavior.
Availability of Tier-0 Gateway is maintained through VIP at cluster level.
Therefore, you may see ping failure while replacing Edge cluster member.
