Supervisor Control Plane node API server down. Supervisor node stuck in "Provisioning."

Issue/Introduction

• Supervisor Control Plane node API server down. Unable to recreate supervisor node.
• Errors when accessing Kubenetes API. Supervisor Control Plane VM does not have 2 ethernet NICs added.

Environment

vSphere 8.0 with VKS supervisor.

Cause

The Kubernetes API is is unavailable due to disk exhaustion on the Supervisor Control Plane nodes, which is preventing provisioning of additional supervisor nodes.

Resolution

• Refer to KB vSphere Supervisor Root Disk Space Full at 100% to resolve disk space issues.
• Delete EAM agency of supervisor which failed provisioning.

Additional Information

Warning: Node deletion is not a valid troubleshooting step and is only recommended in specific scenarios. Improperly deleting Supervisor Control Plane nodes can cause unexpected and undesired behavior including data loss. Use caution when deleting Kubernetes objects.
