When using the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Planning and Preparation Workbook, a validation error is displayed during the planning phase for a Workload Domain (WLD) deployment.
The error message “This VVS is not validated in this release with Isolated VI Workload Domains.” is seen when selecting "Create New SSO Domain"
VCF 5.X
VVS stands for VMware Validated Solution, this is a validation warning within the VCF Planning and Preparation Workbook, triggered because the configuration differs from the validated design.
This is an informational warning in the VCF Planning and Preparation Workbook and does not affect VCF deployment.
Reference link- Specify Names and vCenter Single Sign-On Domain
- When you create a VI workload domain, you can join it to the management domain's vCenter Single Sign-On domain or a new vCenter Single Sign-On domain that is not used by any other workload domain.
- Joining a new vCenter Single Sign-On domain enables a VI workload domain to be isolated from the other workload domains in your VMware Cloud Foundation instance.
- The vCenter Single Sign-On domain for a VI workload domain determines the local authentication space.
Should any issues arise during or after deployment, even with this configuration, please log a case with Broadcom Support.
