DSM 2.2.3 Postgresql instance not starting after running out of space

Issue/Introduction

The PostgreSQL Instance crashed. The PostgreSQL Instance has run out of free space.

The administrator added additional space to the instance from the DSM UI.

However, there is no current method to restart the PostgreSQL instance in the DSM UI.

The Instance remains in an error state.

Environment

DSM 2.X

Cause

Broadcom has identified a limitation in the 2.X build of DSM

Resolution

Upgrade to 9.0.1 version
