Issue/Introduction

When trying to login to Nolio UI, the "welcome" page loads correctly, but when clicking in ‘Launch’ button, nothings happens:

When trying to go directly to base URL: http://server_name:port/datamanagement/index.html

The browser keeps loading and nothing is shown.

Nolio Release Automation 6.8

Resolution

There is a known issue in 6.8 release, in which sometimes the ActiveMQ database may get corrupted, causing the Nolio Release Automation service be up and running, but in a hung state.

In order to solve this, the following can be done:

  1. Stop NAC service.
  2. Go to all NES server, and stop the Nolio services too.
  3. Start NAC service and verify that the UI is shown correctly, them start NES services.

It may be possible that after this procedure, NES servers may appear unreachable, even when the services are up and running, in this case, then it may be required to recreate ActiveMQ database, which is done by following these steps on each NES:

  1. Stop Nolio service in NES.
  2. Delete ..\ReleaseAutomationServer\activemq-data\nes\LevelDB folder
  3. Start Nolio service on NES and verify on ROC that the server appears again as reachable.

NOTE: If the issue still persists, then it may be needed to recreate ActiveMQ database on NAC too, which is done by stopping Nolio service in NAC, delete ..\ReleaseAutomationServer\activemq-data\nac\LevelDB and start Nolio service again.
