Configuring Sender Domain Age Blocking via Scan-time Protection Policy in Email Security Cloud

Issue/Introduction

• Administrators can now define rules to detect and act upon the age of sender domains.
• This feature allows administrators to identify sender domains that are under 60 days old, enabling them to block or limit emails from these sources.
• Administrators can set the domain age to a maximum of 60 days.

Environment

Email Security.cloud

Resolution

• Navigate to Services > Scan-time Protection Policy page, add a policy with an IF conditions as below :
  • Envelope Sender Domain Age less than (days)
  • "From" or "Reply To" Header Domain Age less than (days)
  • HELO Domain Age less than (days)
• Choose a THEN action and Save the policy.
• Then Enable the policy.
