Segmentation Planning CSV Upload Fails with “Asset Not Found”

Issue/Introduction

When attempting to upload a CSV file during segmentation planning, the following warning appears for all assets:

Asset Not Found: None of the provided asset identifiers resolved to a matching asset in the Inventory. Review the asset identifiers for this CSV row.

Cause

This issue occurs because the current version of the SSP segmentation module only supports assets that reside in the default NSX project.
Assets located within NSX Projects or VPCs (non-default projects) are not yet supported for segmentation inventory mapping or policy publishing.

Resolution

Move or reference assets from the default NSX project when performing segmentation planning and CSV uploads.

If all assets reside in a VPC or non-default project, this behavior is expected due to current product limitations.
