Unable to edit compute profile in HCX

Issue/Introduction

Editing compute profile is failing with error "datacenter-#: Compute not found"

Under 'Compute Profile > Select Clusters > Select Resource(s)' dropdown does not show any inventory or cluster.

Environment

VMware HCX

Cause

HCX is unable to fetch inventory from vCenter.

Resolution

Please follow these steps -

1. Login to HCX Manager 9443 Admin UI.
https://<HCX-FQDN>:9443

2. Re-establish connection between HCX and vCenter by editing 'vCenter Server' and 'SSO' credentials in HCX manager.

3. Restart HCX services (Web Service, Application Service and Migration Planning service) from the UI.
