VCF Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

When using search queries to view the flows, you might notice "No data to show" messages within the metrics/graphs.

Environment

VCF Aria Operations for Networks

Cause

The collector/proxy that receives flows from the data sources (NSX or vCenter) may be experiencing the following problem " IPFIX Processor is lagging due to an excessive incoming flows"

Excessive incoming flows on the collector from the data source will impact the metric data on the UI and cause a "No data to show" error, as the collector is unable to process the excessive data.

Resolution

To resolve the issue, increase the collector's Brick Size from large or XL or XL to 2 XL. This should mostly take care of the error seen "IPFIX Processor is lagging due to excessive incoming flows error" which would fix the "No data to show issue"
