However, in diagnostics, it is not showing at which hop the violation occurred:

Cause

Diagnostics are not guaranteed to see the same loss that triggered an alert, since it depends on:

1. Whether the same path is traversed,
   
   
2. What the protocol used was
   
   
3. and whether the loss is sustained.  

 

Resolution

We are working on diagnostic replacement with hop-forwarding loss detection to look at better reflecting the errors however, at the moment, this is the way it works.
