MUX Reporting - OBS fields will not show correctly in Report filter until browser refresh

Issue/Introduction

When working with designing a new report with OBS fields and filters in MUX Reporting, the filter will display a Search box only unless a browser refresh has been done.

 

1. Go to MUX Reporting – Data Providers
2. Select Financial Cost Plan Details across Investments - Copy
3. Once it’s completed, open the new Draft data provider and Publish it
4. Go to Report Designer, create a new report with Layout Format Data Extraction (CSV)
5. Add the new data provider as source
6. Add some different columns, Publish
7. Now open the Data Provider – Edit
8. Add Project - Department OBS – Publish
9. Now open the same report you’ve created
10. Go to Filters – Add Filter – select the Department OBS

 

Expected Results: The Department OBS field to be displayed as an OBS with structure

Actual Results: A search box is displayed only

 

Note: this issue will happen every time a new OBS field is added to the data provider

Workaround: Refresh the browser – and the OBS field will display correctly in the filter
