Users successfully accessing internet sites via Cloud SWG using WSS Agent.
All users using SAML authentication to single sign on to Cloud SWG services.
After ingesting the Cloud SWG access logs, some request fields appeared to be unpopulated.
When looking at 'Agent-Type', 'Client version', or 'OS' fields within Cloud SWG Reporting portal, each was periodically blank when it would usually be populated, as shown below:
Tracking the user's requests, the fields would start to be correctly populated a few seconds later.
Cloud SWG.
WSS Agent.
SAML Authentication.
WSS Agent RECONNECTs.
Authentication issues during a RECONNECT / session resume would cause some of the these fields get dropped for a few seconds.
Fixed in October 2025 update.
