Solr Fails to Start During cbupgrade to 7.9.0

Issue/Introduction

When upgrading to 7.9.0, the /usr/share/cb/cbupgrade command fails to complete the upgrade process when Solr fails to startup. 

/var/log/cb/solr/startup.out has the following error. 

/etc/cb/solr/solr.in.sh: line 17: Could: command not found

Environment

• Carbon Black EDR Server: 7.9.0

Cause

Incorrect solr.in.sh file

Resolution

1. cd to /etc/cb/solr/ 
2. Verify which file has the correct 

   grep -l 'temurin-17' /etc/cb/solr/solr*

3. Overwrite the current /etc/cb/solr/solr.in.sh with the file found above. 
4. Run cbupgrade again.
