Error: "vCenter HA failover to passive node" while taking snapshots with vCenter HA enabled

Issue/Introduction

• vCenter is configured with HA cluster
• Snapshots were taken while vCenter HA is enabled in the environment

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.X

VMware vCenter Server 7.X

Cause

• It is not supported to take snapshots while vCenter HA is enabled
• Creating a snapshot on the active node could cause a failover under high load circumstances. To prevent this, disable VCHA before taking a snapshot of the active node.

Resolution

1. Edit vCenter HA
2. Choose Maintenance mode or Disable vCenter HA
3. 
4. Create/delete a snapshot
5. Enable vCenter HA
