Upgrade Aria Operations task hang on Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager

Issue/Introduction

• During the upgrade of VMware Aria Operations using Aria Suite Lifecycle, the upgrade of Aria Operations completed successfully; however, the Aria Suite Lifecycle task became stuck.
• After restarting Aria Suite Lifecycle, the task failed. When selecting “Retry with skip flag as true”, the task immediately failed again with the error code LCMVROPCONFIG20035 and Error message:

"Failed while creating SDDC Manager water mark for VMware Aria Operations as master node itself is not present. Check whether VMware Aria Operations cluster is in proper state."

• The procedure outlined in KB392810 has been applied; however, upon retrying the task, it still fails to complete successfully, returning the same error code as before.

Resolution

This is a known issue which will be fixed in future release.
