Issue/Introduction

Introduction:

This document describes how to monitor Interface link up/down with snmpcollector.

Background:

snmpcollector can get values of ifAdminStatus(OID:1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7)/ifOperStatus(OID:1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8) via SNMP, and input the values for  AdminStatusPollable/OperStatusPollable monitors

Therefore, user can confirm interface link up/down from the monitors.

Environment:

Requires snmpcollector 2.0 or above.

Instructions:

1. Open snmpcollector probe configuration GUI on admin console.

2. Go to snmpcollector > Profiles > profile name > device name > Interface > interface name.

3. Set AdminStatusPollable/OperStatusPollable monitors to be active.
