Unable to view scheduled reports in Aria Operations as the admin user, does not allow viewing of schedules created by other users.

Issue/Introduction

Unable to view scheduled reports in Aria Operations as the admin user or the ldap user that created the report schedules.

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x
VCF Operations 9.x

Cause

If the report is linked to an IDM user of the same name the reports will only be viewable when authenticating via Identity Manager. Only the creating user can see reports, the admin user cannot see them unless they were created using the admin user.

Resolution

• To see the reports, logon via Identity Manager using the account that created the schedules.  By design, only the user used to create the report schedules can see them in the UI.
