Unable to list any vCenters in VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager UI

Issue/Introduction

When navigating to datacenters in VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager UI, none of the vCenters will be listing and the page keeps loading.

Environment

Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager 8.x

Cause

If the vCenter inventory is too large, Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager will not be able to load the page. 

Resolution

Before proceeding with below steps take a snapshot of LCM as kb: Managing snapshots in vSphere Web Client 

1. SSH to Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager appliance 
2. Navigate to below location and take a backup of the nginx.conf file.
   • cd /etc/nginx
   • cp nginx.conf nginx.conf.bak 
3. Locate the entry 
   • location /lcm/lcops/api/
4. Add below entries
   • proxy_read_timeout 5m;
   • proxy_send_timeout 5m;
5. It should look like below

      6. Restart Aria Suite Lifecycle service

1. • systemctl restart vrlcm-server

       7. Access the vCenter under datacenter in Aria Suite Lifecycle Manager UI
