Issue/Introduction

  • VCF 9.x license registration options are unavailable.
  • In VCF Operations, under "License Management  > Registration", the options to start registration are greyed out.



  • This is applicable for both "Connected" and "Disconnected" mode. Hence, unable to enter the activation code or download registration file.

Environment

VCF 9.x

Cause

This issue is observed when the logged in user on VCF Operations do not have the required Admin privileges.

Resolution

The default administrator account on VCF Operations is called "admin". Login to VCF Operations using this account to proceed with the License registration.
