Error in Data Services Manager (DSM) when deploying Postgres DB with VKS Namespace VCFABinding.

Issue/Introduction

The following error is displayed when trying to deploy a Postgres DB with VKS Namespace VCFABinding:

Environment

DSM with VCFA 9.x

Cause

This is caused by a version compatibility issue between DSM and VKS.

 

Resolution

Check the specific VKS version and DSM version currently in use the interoperability matrix here: DSM - Product Interoperability Matrix

 

Workaround 1:

Upgrade to the specific VKS version to support the DSM data services deliverables.

 

Workaround 2:

If you are on a higher version of DSM - you can download the older upgrade bundle of a previous version and upload it to your Data Services Manager appliance.

After uploading the bundle you will have the data services deliverables of the specific release available.
