Unable to migrate vAPP error 'The requested operation cannot be performed because the disk is attached to the virtual machine'

Issue/Introduction

We get an error message while trying to migrate vAPP from one Org VDC to another Org VDC:

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.X

Cause

The VM is attached with named disk which is blocking the migration with error message

Resolution

Steps to migrate VM which has named disk attached to it.

1. Detach the named disk from the VM
2. Migrate the named disk from source Org VDC to Destination Org VDC by referring to KB 325550 
3. Migrate the VM to destination Org VDC
4. Attach the named disk back to VM.
