Unable to change Currency code for Money Attribute in MUX

Issue/Introduction

• An attribute is created in an object (Ex: Project), at Administration > Objects
• Its data type is set as 'Money'
• Its default currency is set to 'USD'
• It is displayed in the 'Properties' tab in the Classic UI
• It is also displayed in the 'Properties' tab in the Modern UX
• It is then noticed that:
  • In the Classic UI, it is possible to change the currency of the field
  • In the Modern UX, this is not possible.

Resolution

This is as per design.

The way these fields are displayed and interacted with differ between the Classic UI and the Modern UX.
