"Failed to Perform Cleanup" while patching to vCenter 8.0.3

Issue/Introduction

Latest patch would be visible on the vCenter UI

Patching fails with the below error. 

Environment

VMware vCenter Server 8.0.3   

Cause

During the staging phase of the update cycle, some required files may not be downloaded in time, leading to race conditions that can overwrite critical files necessary for the patching process.

Resolution
