CPU usage is not showing consistent/correct data in App Metrics v2.3.1

Issue/Introduction

In App Metrics v2.3.1, users might observe an issue that "CPU Usage" is showing data even during zero-app-instance period.

Zero-app-instance means either the app instance was scaled down to zero or none of the app instances was in a running status. So we don't expect to observe resource usage during this kind of period.

As shown in the below screenshot, the blue line is not expected to be displayed in the highlighted period when no app instance was running.

However, if checking the zoom-in view of the CPU usage, it turns out there is no available data to show.

Cause

This issue is identified as a bug in current app metrics version 2.3.1

Resolution

The Issue is now fixed in App Metrics version v2.3.3
