Unable to add custom script to product managed Telegraf

Issue/Introduction

In Aria Operations 8.17.1, when you add a custom script to a VM in Environment > Applications > Manage Telegraf Agents, a message appears in the UI: 

• Failed to retrieve required details for resource. Action not taken.

In the /storage/log/vcops/log/vcops-bridge.log on the Primary node, you see errors similar to:

• com.vmware.vcops.bridge.server.util.retriever.AppOSAdapterInfoRetriever.getResourcesByResourceKind - No ResourceKind Endpoint found for Resources [########-####-####-####-############]

Cause

This is a known issue in Aria Operations 8.17.1

Resolution

This issue is resolved in Aria Operations 8.18.x and later.
