Issue/Introduction

Cannot remove a storage policy Get following error:

The resource '<id>' is in use.

"Cannot delete profile ID: <id> as it is default profile for existing hubs."

Environment

vCenter server

Resolution

Check 'Storage Compatibility' tab of the storage policy.
Go to the datastore shown in above tab and follow the steps below.

1. Navigate to the datastore.
2. Click the Configure tab, and click General.
3. In the Default Storage Policy pane, click Edit.
4. From the list of available storage policies, select a policy to designate as the default and click OK.
